Hello

It's humbling to realize how quickly life is lived. I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was 4 years old. Only ten years later, I began working after school, at an amazing Montessori school and fell in love with the Montessori method. I worked there after school and every summer until I graduated from high school. After Kyle and I got married, he encouraged me to pursue Montessori training. I received my Early Childhood Credential through The Center for Guided Montessori Studies and The International Montessori Council, in 2019. I also trained under the most fantastic Montessori school, Children's House, in Ocean Springs, MS.

 

The children who were in the school where I first worked are now graduating high school and entering college! It is absolutely incredible to me that the interests of those children at ages 3 and 4 followed many of them into their college careers. Children truly are the future. My hope is to support the child's intrinsic motivation and to offer lessons that build confidence for practicing skills necessary to thrive in our ever changing world. With the support of my family, mentors, and the community, we will build an ideal learning opportunity for children and the families of the Gulf Coast of Mississippi.
